Yellow Color in the Interior

Yellow color – one of the most vivid colors of the spectrum. It has a great ability to compensate for the absence of natural sunlight. One win-win solutions for the interior rooms with windows facing north, is to use yellow. Painted yellow walls add to the room warm and joyous mood, especially in the winter months.

Psychologists say that the yellow color – the most auspicious color of the spectrum, it inspires optimism and joy.

However, do not forget the fact that the yellow color is also a provocation and a warning: we need only recall the “yellow press”, “yellow house” and the infamous bright yellow sign of radioactivity. Dirty-yellow, poisonous, yellow, bright lemon – the use of these shades of yellow in large quantities would result in an irritation or boredom. Prolonged proximity with similar colors can also cause brain and over-anxiety. There is evidence that in the kitchens of a bright yellow couple more arguing, and the children of that color starting to cry. The yellow color is very rich and intense. Therefore, in its pure form it is better not to apply.

But the subtle, complex and soft shades of yellow to create a chamber against, calm and cozy atmosphere. Any combination of yellow it is a good choice for children’s bedroom. Yellow color also “revitalizes” the other colors, turning hot in a dazzling range of cool colors and returning to life. That’s why this color is a favorite in home décor, filling any room with warmth and light. The most frequent use of yellow found in the kitchen and dining room – it enhances the appetite.
